(now known as the<span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\"><b>\u00a0Milwaukee Institute of Art &amp; Design<\/b><\/span>)<\/p>\n<p><strong>1969-72:<\/strong>\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\"><b>Rhode Island School of Design<\/b><\/span>: Foundry and Fabrication Instructor<\/p>\n<p><strong>1970<\/strong>\u00a0Directed &amp; arranged student and faculty exhibits for the\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\"><b>International Foundrymen\u2019s Conference<\/b><\/span>, Cleveland and Montreal, Canada<\/p>\n<div><strong>Present<\/strong>: Full time Sculptor \/ Designer doing a series of site specific and general commissions for establishments around the USA, Canada, Mexico and South America, Australia and Europe in a variety of media including cast and molten sprayed bronze, copper and aluminum often doubling as doors, gates and entries as well as Garden Sculptures in sited remote areas.<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\"><b>Designed<\/b><\/span>\u00a0and subcontracted 12 custom solar and energy saving homes with sculptural form features while training others, students, and college graduates<span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,Monaco; font-size: small;\">\u00a0with often innovative building systems<\/span>\u00a0in commercial and native media.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1991-Present:<\/strong>\u00a0Started conducting several yearly classes for special needs and family stressed groups through the\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\"><b>United Health Services Department of Connecticut\u00a0<\/b><\/span>and\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\"><b>UPTYME of Rhode Island<\/b><\/span>\u00a0(a prevention and Early Intervention Training Service) to promote creative outlets and discoveries in areas and media that are seldom conventionally touched.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1993 to 2001<\/strong>: Opened an additional Studio in Hawaii for personal study of tropical plants and ocean life while also diving, painting and working with Lanai natives. Set up a funded community fabrication workshop\/studio for native arts in the heart of Lanai City,<\/p>\n<p><strong>2001-02:<\/strong>\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\"><b>Visiting Artist in Residence \/ Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts<\/b><\/span>\u00a0on the Island of Lana`i, Hawaii while creating a 22 Ft. tall bronze and mixed media sculpture with participatory interactions of the locals and students of the Lana`i K-12 Island Public School.<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Career:<\/span><\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b>Presently continue doing sculpture and site specific commissions often working with directed desires of Architects and Designers while o<span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,Monaco; font-size: small;\">ccasionally employing or contracting custom professionals per commission when executing larger scale public works.
